What Is The First Home Buyers Grant?

The First Home Buyers Grant is a government initiative aimed at helping first-time homebuyers get into the property market. Recently, the Queensland Government has doubled this grant to $30,000, providing significant financial support for those looking to purchase their first home.

This increase is a huge boost for first-time buyers, helping them overcome one of the biggest hurdles to homeownership: the initial deposit.

"You can also use it for money towards a new home, a unit, a townhouse or even if your parents want to put a granny flat out the back, so it covers the whole range of the spectrum."
